Last week e.l.f had a 50% sale so I just HAD to take advantage of the offer. E.l.f are super cheap anyway so you definitely get a massive bargain, but 50% off everything wasn't something I was going to pass up. I have a few things from them; nail varnishes, blush, blush and contour kit and some brushes, and I'm really impressed with the quality of their products. Undressed looks....

I previously blogged about how much I love the MUA undressed palette and I've literally worn this every day since I bought it. * Shade 3 all over the lower lid
* Shade 5 (numbered 4 in the pic) in the crease

My big wishlist....

Does anyone else make endless lists of things that they really want, and just never get around to buying any if it? I do! The bad thing is, I always end up with about 6 different lists.....whoops :P Here's what's been catching my eye recently:

First up:

* Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir perfume
My boss owns the diffuser of this scent and I absolutely fell in love with it!

* Plum converse
I already own a black pair of these and love the, they're so comfy and go with almost any outfit. I'm really into this plum/maroon kind of colour at the moment

* Models own nail varnish in 'Beetlejuice'
Again with the plum/maroon colour. I've looked at so many swatches of this and I've now decided this is a nail varnish that I have to have in my collection

* Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte
I think I'm mainly attracted  to this lipstick for the packaging to be honest, it's just SO pretty!! I still can't decide which colour I want: Nude beige, sensual pink, lingerie pink, kissable rose or peach passion. Any preferences? They're all beautiful colours

* Benefit blush on 'coralista'
I've wanted this blush for the longest time, and for some reason have never gotten around to buying it

* MAC eyeshadow in 'Lucky green'
I watched a tutorial a few days ago using this, 'Humid' (which I have) and 'Swimming' (which I also have) and it looked really pretty. I'm also a HUGE fan of green shadows so this will be nice to add to my collection

What's on your 'wish list'?

MUA 'Undressed'....

OK I think everyone and their goldfish has reviewed the new MUA 'undressed' palette already, but I love it SO much that I feel the need to give my two cents.

I was in two minds about getting this at first, only because I have the 'Heaven and Earth' palette and I just thought to myself 'Do I really need more browns?' Well the answer was YES, I do! This palette is totally different to the 'Heaven and Earth' palette, the browns are all different shades, there's a metallic navy blue and a sparkly black AND what I love is that there's two matte shades too!

All of these eyeshadows are seriously pigmented (for some reason shades 1, 3 and 5 don't swatch all that well, but when applying to the lid they really are pigmented) You can create so many different looks with this, from day to night, subtle to bold. I've used this every single day since I bought it, and each day I've created a different look (post to come) In the words of Blue Peter 'Here's one I 'made' earlier'

I used:

* Shade 1 all over the lid
* Shade 3 in the crease
* Shade 4 in outer 'V'
* MUA gel liner in 'underground'
This is another definite for my kit, I think this would be ideal for bridal work!

The lowdown:

* Cost - £4.00
* 9.6g of product
* 12 very pigmented eyeshadows
* Blend easy
* So many looks can be created using this
* 10 pearl shades and 2 matte

weekly favourites....

It'sssssss Sunday again!! Time just flies when you're having fun right? Does it have to be Monday tomorrow? :( I say every weekend should be at least four days ;) Anywhoooo onto this weeks favourites:

* Soap and Glory hand food - I'm SO bad for remembering to put hand cream on, so I always end up with dry hands. However I made sure I left this out on my desk so that I'd see it every morning and night. Even after applying this once my hands were ridiculously soft. And the smell is AMAZING!!

* MUA gel liner in 'underground' - I've already reviewed this and I absolutely love it. My review says it all. I wore MUA liquid liner every single day, and now this is what I reach for every morning - it's pigmented, lasts all day, doesn't smudge AND it comes with it's own brush (I still love the liquid liner too)

* 17 mirrorshine lipstick in 'Beehive' - This will always be a 'go to' lipstick for me. No matter what make up I have on, I can just throw this on and it finishes off the look. The thing I love about the mirrorshine lipsticks is that they're super glossy, so no need to apply a gloss too.

* MUA eyeshadow palette in 'undressed' - I think everyone now owns this palette, if you don't then you need it in your life. I've worn this every day since I bought it and absolutely love it (review/rave coming soon) Each shadow is so pigmented and easily blended, and there's colours for every skin colour and tone

* Fashionista blush in 'blushing' - This is super pigmented and so pretty. I love berry colours and mauves even in the summer (HA what summer?!!) So this is perfect

That's all folks, until next week :P

Review: Marks and Spencer Limited collection nail varnish....

In my previous haul post, I showed the new nail varnish I picked up from Marks and Spencer's 'Limited collection' in 'Lilac'

This is with 2 coats

As soon as I spotted this I had to have it. Purple and glitter = perfect ;P I can't decide if this is lilac with gold glitter, or gold glitter with lilac polish. It seems to have an equal amount of both which is kind of rare in nail varnish I find. Either way, it's extremely pretty!

One of the things on the bottle that I noticed was the claim of 'Quick dry' So many nail varnishes claim to be quick drying and they really aren't. This one is! It literally dries in seconds! I got 2 days wear out of this before it started chipping, but as usual that's probably my fault because I never wear a base or top coat. When it came to removing it, I had no trouble. I was expecting to be on for ages with mass amounts of nail varnish remover and cotton wool (because of the glitter) but it came off really easily. What more can I say than go try this out! I'll be heading back to buy more colours from this range that's for sure.

I've only had this a few days and it's already one of my favourite nail varnishes I own!

The lowdown:

* Cost - £3.50
* 8ml
Quick drying
* Lasts 2 days
* Easy to remove
* 25 colours available

Available to buy from: Marks and Spencer

Have you tried anything from the Limited collection?

Rave: Balance me - Rose otto intensive lip salve....

A girl can't have too many lip products right? I'm a sucker for lip balms/slaves anything I can slap on my lips to be honest. So when I noticed that Glamour magazine were giving out free Balance me products with this months issue, I knew I had to pick up a copy (OK.... two copies, I also got the eye cream *whistles*)

The past week or so I've been trying out the 'Sasy n Savy' Rose lavender hand n nail repair creme and have pretty much fallen in love with the rose scent. I used to hate the smell, I think my nose must be maturing.....shame my brain isn't :P Anyway, when I saw that the Balance Me lip salve was Rose scented I knew I had to get it.

This is very heavily scented, so if you're not a fan of rose scented products then you won't like this at all. It reminds me of Turkish delight mmmmm!

What is says ' Discover our new, petroleum - free, 100% natural ultra-moisturising intensive lip salve. A daily   beauty - must for salve addicts to plump, protect and smooth away dry patches on lips and leave them kiss-ably soft'

I didn't notice any plumpness to my lips, but they were definitely smooth and soft after using this. I applied this before bed and woke the next morning to find that my lips were still moisturised. The consistency isn't too thick or thin, and it leaves a lovely sheen to the lips. I've now taken to wearing this alone instead of a gloss because I love the sheen it gives off. This is really good for clearing up dry skin too. I had a tiny patch of dry skin just above my upper lip, I applied a teeny amount of this to it, and it had gone within a couple of hours!

The lowdown:

* Cost - £12 for 10ml
* Not sticky
* Very moisturising
* Gives a nice soft sheen
* Heals dry skin
* Heavily rose scented

Would I recommend? Absolutely! 5/5 from me.

Have you tried any Balance Me products?
