I think I've finally (after 26 years) found a skincare routine that works for me, and leaves my skin oh so nice! I use a variety of products from very cheap to not so cheap. Here's what I use:
Morning routine:
I wash my face with just water on a morning (I only use a face wash at night) then I use a superdrug 4 in 1 cleansing wipe, followed by the wilkinsons 'skinology tea tree blackhead cleanser' then my lavera 'wild rose' eye cream and last but not least clean and clear 'dual action' moisuriser.
Night routine:
I remove my make up using a 4 in 1 cleansing wipe, then wash my face using the Clinique 'rinse off foaming cleanser'. I then cleanse my face using wilkinsons 'skinology tea tree blackhead cleanser' then lavera 'wild rose' eye cream followed by clean and clear 'dual action' moisuriser. The last two things are my 'figs and Rouge rambling rose balm and then Re-Gen cream on my chin.
Twice a week I exfoliate with No7 beautiful skin 'purifying exfoliater'

Battle of the reds....
Near the very beginning of me starting my blog I posted a battle of the nudes and thought it was high time I posted a Battle of the reds. I have five red lipsticks to battle out, from MAC to MUA, so without further ado let the battle commence:
* Most pigmented - Natural collection 'crimson', Maybelline 'passion red', MUA 'shade 13' and Collection 'valentine'
* Least pigmented - MAC viva glam Cyndi
* Best staying power - Collection 'valentine'
* Least staying power - MAC viva glam Cyndi
* Truest red - Maybelline 'passion red'
Winner - Collection 'Valentine'

* Natural collection 'Crimson' £1.99 - Started to fade after around 2 hours. Smooth application. Not drying on the lips. Didn't bleed
* Maybelline 'passion red' - Lasted around 2 and a half hours. Very creamy, glossy finish. Not drying on the lips. Did start to bleed pretty much straight away. Difficult to apply without a brush. Does smudge
* MUA shade 13 £1.00 - Bright red when fist applied, doesn't bleed. Does smudge a little. Not drying on the lips. Started to fade after 2 and a half hours. Turned into more of a raspberry red
* Collection lasting colour 'valentine' £2.99 - Bright red. Smooth to apply. Isn't drying on the lips. Lasted 3 hours and started to fade slightly
* MAC 'viva glam Cyndi' £13.50 - Very sheer but buildable. Perfect for those who want a not so out there red lip. Very creamy and moisturising. Lasted around an hour

Review - Chit chat juicy lipstick
We've all seen the Revlon just bitten kissable balm stains right? Well I spotted a bit of a dupe in.....the poundshop! They have a similar product called 'Chit chat juicy lipstick' with the same packaging and concept as the Revlon just bitten, but for the grande total of £1.00
I'm not going to say it's exactly the same thing because it's not, and it doesn't claim to be a lip stain it says it's a lipstick. However it has very similar packaging in which it's in a jumbo crayon type tube and you have to twist the bottom to get more of the lipstick out. However this is so much more sheer (but buildable) than the Revlon lip stain and has more of a glossy finish to it. I got mine in 'firey red' but I'd say it was more of a mauve
As for the wear of this, I'd definitely say it was a lipstick. It started to fade after around an hour and a half, which is pretty much like most lipsticks.
I'm not sure what other shades are available, I only spotted this one in the shop near where I live but I'm pretty sure there'll be more than one shade. Definitely give this a try girls, you won't be disappointed.
These are available to buy from most poundshops

Weekly favourites....
Time for my weekly faves again.
As always let start with likes:
* Nivea extreme resist mascara in brown - At first I thought this was going to be a favourite this week, until it came to removing it. Jeeeez did it take a while. I didn't realise when I first bought it that it was waterproof, I loved the look of my lashes with this, but hated having to take it off
Not so likes:

Not so likes:
* Front cover eyeshadows in 'mother of pearl' 'hazel' and 'clove' All three of these are warm tone and I really didn't get along with them
* Front cover eyeshadow in 'fern' This had no colour pay off at all
And last but not least Faves:
* Rimmel lipstick in 'spotlight beige' I was unsure about this when I first bought it and didn't understand the hype, until I brought it back out. I love this!!
* MUA mosaic blush in 'English rose' I have no idea why I haven't been using this more. It gives off such a pretty pink flush of colour
* Barry M lipgloss (limited edition, came with impulse bodyspray) I love them smell, the texture and it lasts quite well on the lips
* Front cover eyeshadows in 'biscuit' 'viola' and 'wild lime' these three were the ones I reached for through the week. Great colours and pigmentation
Until next week!

Budget Beauty - e.l.f....
A few months back I posted a Budget Beauty using MUA products. This month, I shall be talking about e.l.f. I've used all of these products over the past month and will be doing a mini review on each one. The only thing I couldn't get my hands on was the mascara.
* Lipstick
* Lipgloss
* Pencil eyeliner
* Liquid eyeliner
* Eyeshadow
* Mascara (couldn't get)
* Blusher
* Concealer
* Nail varnish
Lets start with face:
* Blush - £3.50 - 4/5 - Very sheer but build-able. Quite powdery so can make a bit of a mess
* Concealer - £1.50 - 1/5 - Very sheer, no coverage and doesn't last long on the skin at all. Smells great though
Eyes:
* Liquid liner - £1.50 - 2/5 - I think my main reason for not really being a fan of this is because of the applicator. It's really thin and flexible so I find it hard to use. I also think the consistency is pretty runny
* Pencil liner - £1.50 - 4/5 - I really like the pencil liners, especially the colours for adding a pop of colour. They're very creamy, last a long time, are highly pigmented and have a sharpener in the lid
* Eyeshadow - £1.50 - 5/5 - I really enjoy using these eye shadows. They're really pigmented and last all day. Some can be quite powdery but I don't find this to be a problem
Lips:
* Lipstick - £1.50 - 5/5 - Love love love these lipsticks. Pigmentation is amazing, staying power is amazing and they're not drying on the lips at all
* Lipgloss - £1.50 - 5/5 - Again I love these glosses. They're not very pigmented but still give a great colour to the lips, not sticky and are pretty long lasting
Nails:
* Nail varnish - £1.50 - 5/5 - Yet another product I love. Quite opaque, fast drying and lasts around a week before it starts to chip
Top five products:
* Lipstick
* Lipgloss
* Nail varnish
* Blush
* Eyeshadow
For the price of elf products, I'd say give them a go!
e.l.f is available to buy online
