Review - The Body Shop Wild Rose hand cream

If you've read my previous post of The Body shop's 'Hemp hand protector' then you'll know how much I love it. However it ran out recently and I thought I'd try out a different hand cream from them. For two reasons: The hemp hand protector is AMAZING however it smells not all that great, and two because it's quite greasy. Meaning I could only really use it before bed. I definitely stand by my recommendation though, and if you suffer dry hands get that cream.

SO instead of picking up another of the 'Hemp' variety, I chose the 'Wild Rose' hand cream

The claims:

'Hydrates and helps protect against the appearance of brown spots. With rosehip oil and Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil'

What I think:

I really like this hand cream, just as mush as the 'Hemp hand protector'! I find that it works just as good, I can't comment on the protecting against brown spots part because I don't have any, but there's definitely oils in there. The main differences between this and the 'Hemp hand protector' is the smell and that this is not as greasy. The 'Hemp hand protector is very thick, where as this is more of a cream/lotion. This soaks into the skin pretty quickly and smells divine (Don't get this if you hate the smell of rose though!) The rosehip and Brazil oils certainly spring into action, leaving hands so soft

The lowdown:

Cost: 30ml - £5.00 and 100ml - £10.00
Product: 30ml and 100ml
Moisturising: Absolutely
Would I recommend: Absolutely
Where to buy: The Body Shop

Have you tried this before? Or any other Body Shop hand lotions and potions?

Thanks for reading :)

  5. My fiance really wanted to buy me the hemp set but I told him not to, regretting it now! I love items from The Body Shop but find them to be quite expensive here in Ireland xo

  6. It's a really good hand cream but I deffo think it's expensive for what it is. Every now and again they have a deal on where they do the hand creams half price, so they're £5 instead of £10! That's when I got my hemp one. Love a bargain haha
